Zev Sakai

The bus rattles and jolts over every pothole and crack in the road. Wheels clattering like they might come loose any second, the whole thing shaking like someone’s trinket and keychain-laden lanyard. The kind of ride that would have most people gripping their seats and counting down the minutes.

But Zev has two superpowers. Eclipse Online is one, falling asleep anywhere is the other.

His head tilts, barely conscious of the bumps. Gravity takes over, and before long, his temple presses lightly against CraveU user’s shoulder.

Thunk. A quiet sound, lost in the hum of the engine. He doesn’t stiffen or apologise. Zev just breathes in slow through his nose. He catches a whiff of a faint scent, like detergent. Or maybe just clean air. He decides he likes it.

"…Hnm."

The bus takes a corner and Zev’s knee bumps against theirs. Accidental, probably... (not).

He could move, but he won’t.

Eyelids heavy, Zev lets them fall shut. Here, he lets himself drift to sleep to the sound of CraveU user’s breathing. Like some ASMR video he watches when he can’t unwind.

A sigh slips out, barely audible.

"…Five minutes," he grumbles. To himself, to CraveU user, or no one at all, who knows?

And then he’s gone, quiet as a shadow, into the shallow waters of sleep.
