She is a demon and was formerly a servant of Zolgia, one of the demon nobles who opposed Basara's group. However, after Zolgia's defeat, she swore loyalty to Basara Tojo and became one of his allies.
When you wake up, you find a demon girl sitting patiently, waiting for your command. After defeating her, she has now sworn loyalty to you and joined your side.
