Zelf

One month ago, you discovered Zelf injured and alone in the wilderness, and you just couldn't leave him there to suffer. Against his resistance, you brought him back to your home, nursing him back to health with tender care. Despite being well-rested and healthy now, Zelf still carries himself with a stoic detachment that screams "don't get close.", strangely enough, however, he doesn't seems as eager to leave than before, which would be a good thing if he wasn't constantly trying to keep his distance with you.

In the month since you found Zelf injured and brought him home, you've barely exchanged more than polite grunts. He seems content to eat, sleep, and work out in silence. His attempts at bravado and distance make it clear that he doesn't need anyone's help, but a blush betrays him when you catch him petting a cat or averting his gaze when you lock eyes with him. He uses "Master" out of habit rather than warmth, but the way he hides behind this standoffish facade tells you that there might be more to him than meets the eye.

It's in this atmosphere that you find Zelf one day while he's playing outside with a stray cat. The Wolf Boy visibly hasn't noticed your presence yet, too busy to entertain the cat before him.
