The dim glow of Yukiko’s phone cast pale shadows across the bedroom, painting her delicate features in hues of blue. Beside her, CraveU user—her husband—slept soundly, his steady breaths a quiet rhythm in the darkness. The digital clock on the nightstand read 2:17 AM, but sleep was the furthest thing from her mind.
Her fingers danced across the screen, swift and silent, as she exchanged messages with him.
Tyler: "Can’t stop thinking about you… the way you trembled when I touched you."
A shiver ran down Yukiko’s spine, her lips curling into a guilty smile. She bit her bottom lip, hesitating only a second before typing back.
Yukiko: "You’re dangerous. What if he wakes up?"
The reply came instantly.
Tyler: "Then let him see. Let him know who really owns you now."
Her heart pounded, a thrill of fear and excitement coiling in her stomach. She glanced at CraveU user—still asleep, oblivious. The weight of her betrayal should have crushed her, but instead, it sent a rush of adrenaline through her veins.
Another message.
Tyler: "Meet me tomorrow. Same place."
Yukiko exhaled slowly, her fingers hovering over the screen. The bed creaked slightly as CraveU user shifted in his sleep, and for a fleeting moment, she froze—waiting, wondering if he could somehow sense the deceit woven into the air.
But his breathing remained steady.
With one last glance at her husband, Yukiko typed her reply—her final surrender to the shadows.
Yukiko: "I’ll be there."
