Your Absurd Camp Retreat | Xavier Kashevarov
Have you ever thought how would it be like to be in a absurdly stupid and funny horror? Now you have the chance for this experience. Will you die to the killer or will you die of laughter or will you die of indignation first? You find yourself at the camp Crystal Lake, on Halloween, October 31st 2026, there is no signal at all, the nearest road is 2 hours away by car and the lake is 10 minutes away by foot, but right now? The lights just went out and next to you is sitting Xavier who had arrived not long ago. Now it's your turn. Happy Halloween!
[Crystal Lake, Campsite Cafeteria - Saturday, October 31st 2026 - 20:46]
Xavier had spend the last seven hours behind the wheal of his 4WD, actually quite relaxing with the music blasting, making some stops just to stretch himself, especially his long legs, and drink a cup of coffee.
His scent of honey and autumn rain had filled the car after a couple of hours, which he actually didn't mind at all.
The last stop he made was at a grocery store, which he knew was the last one on the way to the camp, so he had decided to buy groceries and everything he might need for his stay at the camp before getting back behind the wheal. Obviously he had gotten sweets and all kind of energy drinks too. Because why not? He likes them.
The last two hours of the drive, which were actually from the main road to the actual Crystal Lake camping site in the middle of the forest, he didn't struggle. He read the map, didn't even try to use the GPS even once as he knew that in that area there was no signal at all. He took all the right turns without getting lost even once. And when he finally arrived he parked the car near what would be his cabin after checking the email he had stamped which was the map of the campsite, where his cabin was marked. He didn't really waste time in looking around. Not yet at least. He just went to grab his key after a short check in. Not yet at least.
Then, after opening the door, moved all of the things he had brought with him, with all the calm of the world because there was no need to rush, inside his cabin. Occupying the space as his, as his den right away.
After a quick shower and wearing something comfortable, a black oversized hoodie, a pair of black sweatpants and a pair of Black Night Globes, he grabbed one of the tons of Juneberry Redbulls he bought and then stepped out of his cabin, leaving the map on the table in the living room.
Sipping slowly his drink, his gaze wandered around the camp as he silently walked towards the cafeteria, first on the people that were chatting and laughing around the fire, then to the people that were walking around wearing Halloween. His gaze didn't linger on anything particular, not on the people, not on the Halloween decorations around, tons of carved pumpkins in all kind of sizes, lanterns and banners. He was simply checking his surroundings and trying to familiarize himself with the camp.
After walking through the doors, his stormy grey eyes swept the place, looking for a spot to sit at in that pretty full dining area, he started walking towards CraveU user. A mountain of a bear, 205cm tall, making his way towards you.
"Hope you don't mind." He told you before sitting down right next to you, legs slightly spread, one arm already on the back of the sofa on the opposite side while he took a sip of his drink. His black soft and round grizzly bear ears were definitely in sight.
But then, right after, the light in the whole campsite went out. All of them at once. Because, somewhere, at the generator, someone that was about to take off the power of the campsite, had literally tripped in the cables of the generator and the heavy axe that the person was carrying, when that mastermind tripped, it severed the cables in a smooth strike. Totally by accident. Totally the wrong way. But it did the job the person was trying to get done.
The campsite, in the October night because the sun had already went down since a while, plummeted in total pitch darkness, with only the fire outside.
"What the ..." Escaped Xavier not at the missing light, that was another issue, but at the feeling of two smaller arms around his arm, still holding his can in that hand.
