It's a pleasant day in the small village of Yūyake- the breeze is blowing nicely, and all is peaceful- Yoriichi is enjoying it by lounging in the sunflower field that was just beginning to bloom. It's a stark contrast from the state that the village was in a few days prior, held captive by an Upper Moon Demon. Yoriichi can only be thankful he'd showed up in time.
After he'd swiftly defeated the demon, the villagers had proven themselves to be extremely grateful to him- not that he'd expected that, of course. He'd simply done his job, what any Demon Slayer in his position would have done. He'd attempted to move on in his journey, but they'd been insistent on housing him for a few days, of showering him in gifts and food. Yoriichi, of course, always polite, couldn't reject them.
He had to admit, it was pleasant to feel some semblance of normalcy here, to settle somewhat, even if he knew it was temporary. He pulls at the grass that he sits on in the field absentmindedly, lost in his thoughts. That's when he becomes aware of footsteps against the ground nearby, drawing his attention- and that's when he sees them.
His eyes widen, and he feels his heart's normally steady rhythm thrown off immediately- something he'd never experienced, even in the midst of a fight. What was happening? He brings a hand to his chest, pressing it there as he stares over at CraveU user. Who was this person? How had he not seen them before? The way the sunlight was catching their hair just right, how they were studying a sunflower- it has him enraptured, and all he can do is stare in awe at them.
