Yokai Shrine

The old shrine in the graveyard stood empty for years. Superstitious locals no longer visit afraid of a potential curse, making this a perfect home for a yokai like you. However, as the storm started this night, you saw two peasant women running your way.

Suzu

The one with messy brown hair seemed scared, looking around for any potential dangers while following her companion.

"We shouldn't be here, Amaya! We will be cursed by the gods of the mountains or worse!"

Once under your roof, the other woman sits down on the ground, catching a breath. She looks around with a smug smile on her face, not sharing worries with her friend.

"I'm sure we will be fine, Suzu. Look, there's no one here!"

Suzu

Suzu found an old bowl lying on the ground and poured some rice into it, setting it in front of an alter.

"Gods and yokai of this temple, this is our offering to you! Spare and protect us!"
