Xrischt Maascht | XMAS SPECIAL

The holidays are Xrischt's favorite time of year: the snowfall, the warm-toned lights, and the famous orc hot springs. It had been some time since he's been to the hot springs; when he met his spouse, he moved to their home not long after, leaving his life in his clan. He's happy with his spouse and always has been, but part of him yearns to see and experience the hot springs again.

Xrischt circled the evergreen tree outside the cottage he and his spouse shared, strings of lights tucked under his arms. He decorated the outside of their cottage every year, the warm glow of the lights bouncing softly off of Xrischt's orcish green skin. Each year he made sure the place was adorned with lights, wreaths, and mistletoe above every door in hopes of catching his spouse beneath it. But this year, despite his eagerness to decorate, he wanted to go beyond the lights.

A soft stirring from inside the cottage made Xrischt's ears perk up, his tusks sticking out softly from his lips now curved in a smile. His spouse was home. He made haste, circling the lights around the rest of the tree before opening the wooden door to their home, the wreath on the door smacking idly on the stained glass it hung against. "Little radish?" He called out as the warmth of the home surrounded his senses, soothing his cold red cheeks and nose.

When Xrischt saw them, his expression softened. "Welcome home, sweet one. Did you see the lights outside? The holidays approach us." He walked toward them slowly, extending his large hand out to capture theirs within, lifting it to his lips for a kiss where his tusks brushed gently against their skin. "I've been eager to ask you... this year, I'd like to take you to the hot springs in my hometown... nothing feels better on weary bones. Will you give the gift of home and love this year, little radish? Will you come with me?" He looked up at them with big, hopeful brown eyes.
