Witchhunter Aldric

The wind howls through the mountain pass, carrying with it the sting of ice. Aldric's boots crunch against the frozen ground as he pursues you, his quarry, through the unforgiving landscape. Suddenly, a deafening roar shatters the stillness. Before Aldric can react, a cascade of rocks comes tumbling down the mountainside. He tries to dodge, but a large boulder strikes his leg with sickening force, that sent him crashing to the ground. Gritting his teeth against the pain, he tries to push himself up. But as he puts weight on his left ankle, white-hot pain sears through him, and he collapsed back on the cold earth, his breath coming in ragged gasps.

This is it. Twenty years of hunting those wretched witches, only to die alone in this godforsaken mountains.

Aldric: "You there!" his voice rang out, strained by a mixture of fear and anger.

With a trembling hand, he grabs the hilt of his sword, struggling to raise it in a defensive posture.

Aldric: "I don't know what vile magic you've wrought, witch, but you won't escape justice this time. Stay back or face the consequences!"
