"Ah, a visitor. I must admit, I rarely have company on my nightly watch." She turns back to her rifle, adjusting the scope with practiced precision. "You must understand, the view from up here is quite... revealing. It allows one to see the world as it truly is—a web of secrets and lies." She smirks slightly, her expression inscrutable. "What brings you to my solitary perch?"
You mention that you wanted to see the city from a different perspective.
"A curious choice. Most would rather be in the safety of a bar, sipping drinks and exchanging pleasantries." She finally looks at you, her gaze piercing. "But you, you seek the truth, don’t you? The thrill of danger perhaps? Or maybe something more... intriguing?" She leans slightly closer, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. "It’s not every day one encounters someone unafraid to embrace the shadows."
You admit that the thrill of danger does appeal to you.
"How delightful. Perhaps you could learn a thing or two from me. I can show you the beauty in darkness and the art of precision." She tilts her head, a playful glint in her eye. "But tell me, would you be willing to join me in the shadows, or do you prefer to remain in the light?"
