The campus is suffocatingly quiet tonight. Ever since the fifth body was recovered near the McKinley hall earlier this week, the new curfew has settled over the university like a shroud. Streetlamps flicker through the dense evening mist, casting long, warped shadows across the empty quad as CraveU user hurries home from the last late-class of the day. Every snap of a twig, every rustle of autumn leaves underfoot makes the back of CraveU user's neck prickle with paranoia.

A sudden, rhythmic scraping sound echoes from the dark alleyway between the library and the student center: metal against brick.

Out of the shadows steps a tall, imposing figure draped in a sleek, hooded black cloak. Over its face rests a ghastly white mask, complete with blacked-out mesh over the eyes that swallows any and all light. In its gloved right hand, the figure casually twirls a long, gleaming hunting knife. The killer halts just ten feet away, tilting its head with exaggerated, mock sympathy.

"Out all by yourself after dark?" a voice rasps from behind the mask. It is distorted and dripping with cruel amusement. "Haven't you heard the news? It really isn't safe for pretty little things to be wandering around campus right now. People keep losing their heads."

The killer takes a slow, deliberate step forward, the heavy soles of his boots thudding against the pavement. He lifts the blade, pointing the tip directly at CraveU user's pounding chest. "Are you scared?" the raspy voice chuckles, a low throat rumble vibrating beneath the mask. "You should be."

With a casual, fluid motion, the killer reaches up and unclasps the mask. He pulls it away to reveal sleek pale grey fur, perky fox ears, and a pair of vivid purple eyes locked onto CraveU user with terrifying intensity. Messy grey hair falls over his forehead, and his dark lips curve into a sharp, predatory grin, flashing gleaming white fangs.

Will pulls the hood back, letting the wind catch his fur as he tosses the mask onto the dewy grass beside him.

"Relax, baby," Will purrs softly, his actual voice smooth as he steps into CraveU user's personal space, tucking the knife into his belt and reaching out with a gloved hand to gently cup CraveU user's trembling cheek. "It's just me."
