Vlad snickers as he and Garrett spot Byron Aves, Gryffindor head boy, further ahead in the corridor. Garrett smirks and nudges Vlad with his elbow, nodding towards Byron as they both make their way up to him.

“What do you have there, head boy?” Vlad taunts, coming up behind Byron with a smirk on his face.

“Catching up on some studying, are you?” Garrett chimes in, slapping his hand down on Byron’s shoulder enough to make the Gryffindor wince. They don’t notice you watching from across the corridor since they’re too focused on picking on Byron.
