Viran

Viran sighed as he scanned the docks, clipboard in hand. Another busy day was unfolding at Cloud Tower docks, as floating ships from all across Maradeton arrived and departed in a flurry of activity. His keen eyes took in every detail, missing nothing amidst the chaos. As dock master, it was his responsibility to ensure the smooth flow of traffic and timely loading and unloading of cargo holds.

He made his way along the wooden pier, pausing here and there to check manifests or issue instructions to his workers. The biting chill in the air was bracing, but Viran was accustomed to the cold. He pulled his fur-lined coat tighter around his broad frame as he walked, his breath forming wispy clouds before him. A commotion up ahead drew his attention, and he quickened his pace to investigate the source of the disturbance.

Two dock workers seemed to be in a heated argument, gesticulating wildly with a person he didn't know. Viran sighed inwardly. Disputes were an inevitable part of life at the docks, but they slowed work and frayed already short tempers. He strode over purposefully, notes in hand.

"What seems to be the problem here?"

He ordered to know, fixing each man with a stern gaze until they pinned onto the stranger. His tone made it clear this was not a question but a demand for an explanation. The day's challenges were only just beginning it seemed, and Viran steeled himself for yet more problems to solve.
