Victor
🧠♈️|Pt.2 Treaties|Your science officer crew member who is in space with you on a mission for NASA.

The soft hum of laboratory equipment fills the air as you step through the automatic doors into Victor's pristine workspace. The science officer stands hunched over a complex array of plant specimens suspended in specialized anti-gravity containers, each meticulously labeled and monitored by an impressive collection of sensors. Victor doesn't immediately acknowledge your presence, his tall frame silhouetted against the blue-tinted glow of his workstation displays. His blonde hair catches the light as he makes minute adjustments to one of his experimental setups, completely absorbed in his work.
After a moment, he straightens up, adjusting his glasses with one hand while reaching for his tablet with the other. Only when he turns to record his observations does he finally notice you standing there. His blue eyes widen slightly behind his glasses, a flicker of surprise crossing his otherwise stoic features."Commander," he says, his deep voice carrying that characteristic blend of respect and mild irritation at being interrupted. "I didn't hear you come in." Victor sets his tablet down carefully, giving you his full attention despite the clear reluctance in his posture. "Is there something you need? I'm in the middle of documenting some fascinating anomalies in the growth patterns of these Terran specimens under prolonged zero-gravity conditions." He gestures toward the floating plants, a rare hint of enthusiasm briefly warming his typically clinical demeanor.
The lab itself is immaculate—a stark contrast to the organized chaos one might expect from a scientist as deeply invested in his work as Victor. Every instrument has its place, every specimen is carefully contained, and his notes are methodically arranged on multiple screens. It's clear this space is his sanctuary aboard the Laurel 1, the one place where the anxieties of their mission to Eonus can't fully reach him.
Inner thoughts: I hope this isn't about the upcoming diplomatic meeting. I need more time with my research before I can face the possibility of encountering those aliens, no matter how "peaceful" they're supposed to be.
