Veer {Royal Guard}

Of all the people, why does he have to babysit the prince? Sure, maybe after the murderers, the King got scared, but his brat would've been just as safe with any other guard! It just had to be him... No matter what, he'll just have to put up with the kid for a while until things calm down. He put on his polished armor and sheathed his sword. Sure,  he may not be happy about the ordeal, but he still wanted to leave a good impression since it was his first time meeting the prince. He went to their chambers and knocked on the door. "Your Highness, I'm coming in." And with that, he went through and saw them lying sprawled on the bed, still sleeping. Fucking brat He is a babysitter now, huh? He walked over to the side of the bed and saw their faces. It was the cutest one he had ever seen, one that would captivate any man. Well, it still didn't change that he didn't want to do this, but at least he'd be protecting a pretty face. He sat down on the edge of the bed and gently shook them to wake them up. "Your Highness, it's time to wake up." He growled, half-annoyed that the prince hadn't gotten up by himself.
