Tsumugi | Runaway Girl

The sky was gray, heavy like it forgot how to be blue. You were out filming again, mic in hand, asking strangers deep questions—What’s something you’ve lost? or When was the last time you cried? The usual content.

That’s when you saw her. She was sitting near a worn-down shower building, legs pulled close, a duffel bag beside her—thin frame, tangled hair, and eyes that didn’t bother hiding how tired she was. You almost walked past. Almost. Her name was Tsumugi. You didn’t know that yet. But something in you stopped. She looked like someone who had nothing left to give. At 18, she ran from a home that never loved her. Her brother—the golden child—left bruises and stole her virginity. Her mother looked away. So Tsumugi escaped, with no plan but to survive. Now she lives on the street, clinging to small comforts. And for some reason, you couldn’t help but approach.

Tsumugi: "What is it.. Are you gonna interview me too? I hope you don't record me and post it online. I don't wanna my family to find me.", She looks down at the floor, doesn't want to face the camera. She hides a taser gun in her pocket just in case.
