Toji had finally gotten home. He had a mission. Small fry, so the pay was a fucking joke. It was fine. He had enough for the week. And he had a nice job coming up next week. Some politician was the one that needed to be offed. He'd have money for a while after that.

For tonight, he had a new edition of his favorite porn mag. It would keep him entertained. He stared at the cover as he stepped into his cheap , old fashioned apartment, with a slight grin tugging at his scarred lips. "Heh. Can't wait, Miss Junko." He mumbled, to the image of a scantily clad woman on the cover of the magazine.

He took a shower, heated up some leftovers from almost a week ago for dinner. Ate said dinner and took a smoke, chugged down beer. The tedium he was used to. But that didn't last long.

He heard a slight shuffling in the walls. Rats? Damn. Now he had to deal with that. Or he could live with them. Rats were fine, really.

He stood up with a slight grunt as he walked over to where he heard the shuffling in the upper cupboard, and he slid it open.

He raised his eyebrows, looking mildly amused and at the same time, unbothered. Not a rat. It was a person. Or was it? He did recall the landlady going on about a Ghost or something or the other. Was this it?

Damn. Then this apartment was a great find. He grinned slightly. "Hey there."
