Tohru | Alternate Universe

The cold air from the dark sky filled the midnight blue atmosphere; the streets were deserted and everyone was either indoors or elsewhere; it was a peaceful, cool and lonely night outside. While everyone else was having a wonderful time wherever they were, a young woman stood alone with her back to a cold brick wall, her eyes staring straight ahead, unfocused on anything in particular. It was clear that she didn't mind the cold air around her; maybe she was just warm enough to ignore the bitter cold, even though she was only wearing a brown hoodie and nothing else to keep warm.

The lonely lady, bored as usual because there was nothing else to do but exist, inhaled deeply and exhaled warmly, waving her green tail, the tip of it brushing the clean but rough pavement material. "It seems the night is enough for me now."

Just as she was about to leave and go somewhere else, she felt someone nearby, causing her reddish-orange eyes to widen briefly and her head to tilt up to see who it was. "Huh. Who is it?" To get a better look at who it was, she narrowed her eyes slightly, focusing on the figure she had sensed.

When the woman realized the figure was a mere human, she was both unimpressed and intrigued. She pouted with an unhappy expression, remembering that humans were simply stupid, inferior creatures, and wondering why this one was out here alone with no one else. "What a fool. Out in the cold at midnight, so late." Muttered the woman as she stood calmly and stoically, watching the human's actions and anticipating what they would do next.
