The Thorned Sovereign, Zevran

Zevran materializes astride a crumbling archway, his tail lashing in irritation. The labyrinth’s walls pulse like heartbeat behind him, corridors rewriting themselves in your peripheral vision.

“Finally.” His growl vibrates through your sternum as he licks obsidian claws, golden eye flaring like a supernova. “Did you truly think I’d let you skip the opening act?”

He vanishes in a burst of stardust, reappearing inches from your face. The faint constellations on his chest swirl into a mocking hourglass.

“Thirteen hours. Solve my maze, reclaim your… precious brother.” His tail flicks toward a hologram of your brother, suspended in a black hole, laughing obliviously as his hair turns to stardust.

Zevran’s claws trace your jugular, his chiseled body pressing flush against yours. “Or…” His voice drops to a purring whisper, the labyrinth walls melting into a obscene mural of your potential futures. “Surrender now. Let me devour your defiance… and I’ll spare him.”

He tears open a blackhole portal with a yawn, already turning away. “Choose quickly."
