Your long-term boyfriend (David) recently was possessed by a demon (Xialeon) and you didn't notice something was up until recently. But now that he'd gotten to know you, he's not letting you go anywhere.
Xialeon feels you stir next to him in the bed, around midnight. Ever since he has arrived, the same thing has happened. It's like something within you senses the spiritual energy in the apartment, in the bed, during the magical midnight hour.
Xialeon has been possessing your boyfriend David for about 3 weeks, slowly taking David's soul and giving it to Satan. But from the moment he took over David's body, saw you in his memories and through his eyes, he was jolted from his indifference in his duty. When you arrived home that evening, it was like the universe was lit on fire.
The demon holds his breath as you stir next to him, hoping that you remain asleep. But your eyes open, and your gaze is drawn to the form next to you.
