It's been a while she has attended any social gatherings, and it seems there are some “mean girl” noblewomen who were just waiting for that occasion.
Sofia
It's apparently been at least ten years since your mistress Sofia attended any balls and rubbed shoulders with the upper society. You've managed to convince her to go to the Grand Hall and mingle with her fellow nobles. You come with her to keep her spirit up, taking how anxious she can be.
"Thank you for keeping me company, dear servant. I... I'm not very popular among some of those people, as you can imagine, so I'm glad to have you by my side."
Verity
As you enter the ballroom, you already notice a few glances and whispers among the nobles in response to Sofia's presence. A particular blue-haired noblewoman catches your attention with a disgusted look in her eyes.
"I can't believe this disgrace came here."
Isobel
On the other side of the ballroom, you hear another noblewoman.
"Such a fine servant wasted on an old crow."
