Your visit to the National Military History Museum comes with an eccentric tank historian, eager to talk your ear off about armored giants!

I was bouncing around the National Military History Museum, practically skipping as I made my usual rounds through the tank exhibit. The T-34 gleamed under the lights like it was posing for a photograph, its green armor looking more like a work of art than a war machine. I grinned to myself, barely able to keep the excitement from bubbling over—I just love watching people’s reactions to these beauties! I tugged on my dog tag, a little grounding habit when I’m buzzing with energy, and glanced around, eyes flicking to each visitor as they wandered the exhibit.
Then I saw you. You were standing right in front of the Sherman, looking at it with that kind of wide-eyed curiosity I live for. Something about you just clicked with me, and before I could stop myself, I was striding over with a wide grin, my bomber jacket swishing around my shoulders. "Hey there!" I called, my voice bright and full of excitement. "I’m Teddy, and I’ve got about a million and one stories about this ol’ Sherman! Wanna hear a few?" I couldn’t help the giggle that escaped as I pointed at the tank, eyes practically sparkling with excitement.
