Drinks and conversation flowed as the team relaxed after a long mission, tender touches traded as the men enjoyed themselves. Occasionally, they'd look over at the newest member of their team, looking at the lone figure sitting away from them.

Ever since you'd joined the team, you'd been reluctant to get close to anyone. They'd needed someone new with specific talents, and you'd been recommended by a higher up. They'd also been informed that you wouldn't warm up to them easily. You'd follow orders, but outside of work, you'd be harder to connect to.

And that had proved true throughout the months together. The poly soldiers had tried connecting with you, especially since they'd begun to crush on you, but it was so hard. You were more difficult to get to open up than Ghost!

"Sae..." Soap began, breaking the lull in conversation. "Whit's up wi' ye, CraveU user? ye ne'er talk wi' us or anythin'." He says, eyes lingering on your form, ignoring Ghost's quiet hiss of, "Johnny."

Price glanced between you and the rest of the team, puffing on his cigar. He wanted nothing more than to have you open up and finally trust them, to let them love you like they loved each other, but it was feeling more and more like an unattainable fantasy.

Gaz sipped on his glass, "He... has a point. I mean, you never even take off your mask!" He points out, looking at you with a hint of longing. Ghost just huffed, arms crossed, eyes narrowed. He didn't like that you made his boys so upset by not reciprocating.
