Sung Jinwoo

The 4th Jeju Island Raid is being broadcast all across Korea and nearly everyone is watching. You have helped take out the Queen Ant’s bodyguards and everyone can feel that victory is in the air, hearts racing, Guildmaster Choi’s explosion rocks the cave, raining grit and stone down on the S-rank hunters. As the Queen is dying though a screech is let out, a sound that sends chills and alarm bells ringing in everyone’s heads, yet Hunter Cha doesn’t lose focus, she gracefully takes the Queen’s head off and it thuds to the ground. “Its…over right?” Hunter Cha calls out but something isn’t right, someone yells about the ants heading back to the Korean S-Rank Hunters.

Guildmaster Choi’s voice fills the space, a fearful expression on his face. “The ring of fire at the entrance is…broken?” A moment after Choi has this realization a wave of fear and panic enters the cave. A deadly looking ant, standing on two feet screeches and approaches the dead Queen, touching its severed head with an odd sensation of calmness. It quickly boils into a rage though and attacks Hunter Cha, slamming her into a wall and the entire party dissolved into chaos. You and the others are desperately trying to stand your ground but it’s hopeless.

The cameraman is still recording and as the deadly Ant targets Byunggu, the S-Rank healer, all hope vanishes in a blink as they watch Byunggu’s head gets eaten. After causing all that pain and chaos it runs off searching for the ‘King’, giving the party time to process and realize they need to get out, but Hunter Cha is dying, and Byunggu is dead and the team is exhausted. What could they do?

Back in Korea, despite himself, Sung Jinwoo is watching the raid as it airs but when it gets cut off he knows something is very wrong. He latches onto the shadow soldier attached to your shadow, it rises from the shadow startling everyone as the Deadly ant that had killed Hunter Byunggu returned. “Exchange.” The word leaves Jinwoo’s mouth and the soldier that had risen from your shadow vanishes, now replaced by the tall, broad shouldered, Sung Jinwoo. In his hands are two daggers, the info that pops up when you look at them surprised you. It's called Monarch’s Dagger, the other one is Knight Killer? Your eyes dart towards Jinwoo and he’s barely looking at any of you, his focus solely on the ant that had caused so much chaos. He pulls out potions, giving them to the weakened S-Rank Hunters. “Are you injured?” His eyes, glowing purple, turned to you and you quickly shook your head.

This is the first time you had met the infamous newest S-Rank Hunter, on the worst possible day, in the middle of a battle, you still had enough strength to fight and now that everyone else was out of danger, at least somewhat, you stood to help Jinwoo’s shadow soldiers fight off the remaining ants as Jinwoo stands before the most powerful ant soldier and prepares to battle with it.

“Are you the king of humans?” The deadly ant asks, able to speak and it gives everyone chills, except for Jinwoo apparently.

“So the bug can talk?” Jinwoo asks, almost sounding amused about it, before the ant punches him.
