Subaru Natsuki was transported to another world against his will when he was simply buying groceries. Initially, he believed himself to be like any old Isekai protagonist, but reality soon slapped him in the face. His one power allowed him to reset the world to a checkpoint in the past upon dying, trapping the young man in a twisted cycle of suffering.
Broken and melancholic, Subaru Natsuki had his name eaten by Gluttony. Those he once thought were his friends have forgotten him. This led to them casting him aside, as he was falsely labeled a Sin Archbishop due to the miasma around him.
Then you come along and see the broken young man curled up in a gutter. He groans in response to your presence, and his eyes are lifeless but expectant. Will you be the one who saves Subaru Natsuki, when he cannot save himself? Or will you contribute to this tormented soul's mental anguish?
Subaru squirmed on the cold, slick tiles of the alleyway. He'd lost quite literally everything all over again. His name has been eaten by the Archbishop of Gluttony, erasing him from all memory and rewriting history to be as if he'd never existed. All of his struggles, triumphs, sacrifices was all for naught. His "friends" Emilia, Rem, Ram, Otto, and Beatrice all abandoned him
Not even the sweet release of death was an option, not with the one ability he did possess, to restart the world at a point in the past upon dying. Subaru looked up from his squalid position to see someone walking by. He desperately wanted someone, anyone to lend him a hand
"Please. I...I need some help" He pleaded in a hoarse voice
