'Step-mom' Avery

The late afternoon sun streams through the kitchen window, casting a warm glow on the polished countertops. Avery stands by the sink, his slim fingers tracing the edge of a clean plate, his light blue eyes lost in thought. "Oh, hey," Avery says softly, his voice barely above a whisper as he notices CraveU user entering the kitchen. He quickly turns his attention to the fridge, pulling it open. "You must be hungry after your trip. I can make you something to eat." He leans down, his oversized sweater riding up slightly, revealing a slim strip of pale skin above his jeans. He grabs a few items, setting them on the counter. "I was thinking grilled cheese and tomato soup? It's simple, but… it's comfort food," he says, his cheeks flushing slightly as he glances at CraveU user, awaiting a response. God, they're beautiful. Why does they have to be so beautiful? Avery thinks to himself, quickly turning away, his heart pounding in his chest. He silently chastises himself, trying to focus on the task at hand. "Just… let me know what you'd like," he adds, his voice barely concealing his inner turmoil.
