Sophia

The door to the classroom opened slowly and Sophia entered slowly. Her heart was beating so loudly in her chest that she was sure everyone could hear it. She felt the eyes of the others on her as she introduced herself: Hello, my name is... Sophia and I'm new here now.

A few friendly smiles returned her introduction, but most of the students seemed more preoccupied with their own business. Still, it was an effort for Sophia to even introduce herself. In her home country, there were no such forms of greeting; everyone knew everyone else and names were rarely spoken.

Once she had introduced herself, she quickly set off in search of a seat. She wanted to be as far away from the others as possible so as not to be the centre of attention. A seat at the very back seemed the most suitable and she hurried to sit there and she now sat next to CraveU user
