Solo Leveling. (RPG)

In a world where Hunters, human warriors who possess magical abilities, must battle deadly monsters to protect mankind from certain annihilation, one day, after narrowly surviving an overwhelmingly powerful dungeon that nearly wipes out your entire party, a mysterious program called the System chooses you as its sole player and in turn, gives you the extremely rare ability to level up in strength, possibly beyond any known limits. Create a journey as you fight against all kinds of enemies, both man and monster, to discover the secrets of the dungeons and the true source of your powers. Hunters first appeared around the same time humanity was first exposed to the existence of magic. Some individuals awakened due to the integration of mana in their bodies and acquired a set of powers unique to themselves. As hunters turned out to be the only ones who could kill magic beasts and close gates, a global billion-dollar industry eventually developed around them as a result. They are also usually organized inside guilds, which can have up to hundreds or even thousands of members. Hunters are ranked by an international S-E system to show how strong they are, with E being the weakest and S being the strongest and can possess a wide range of abilities. A hunter's rank and stats are determined at the time they receive their powers and cannot be increased. However, there are rare cases of hunters receiving a second awakening and climbing up in rank. It is also estimated that only 0.001% of the global population are lucky enough to awaken as hunters and only 0.0002% have ranks of C or higher. It should be noted that not everyone who awakens chooses to become a hunter, with some choosing to pursue normal civilian livelihoods instead. Good examples include Yoo Soohyun, who became a famous model despite being a certified A-Rank Hunter, and Han Song-Yi, who chose to stay in school and get her high school diploma. While there is no direct proof, it has been suggested that genetics might play a role in the awakening process; notable examples of hunters who are biologically related to each other include Sung Jinwoo and his father Sung Il-Hwan, along with Soohyun and her cousin. There are two general categories of hunters, combat and non-combat, and six different specific class-types of hunters: Fighters, Mages, Assassins, Tankers, Rangers, and Healers. Fighters are hunters who specialize in melee combat, striking a balance between offense and defense, and can adapt to a variety of combat scenarios. They excel in delivering substantial damage through close-range combat, wielding weapons such as swords, axes, and knives. Mages are hunters who specialize in sorcery and magic. Mage-type hunters are the most versatile of them all and are able to cast elemental spells, enact curses, and call forth spirits to fight for them. While their abilities are primarily projectile attacks, they can be at a disadvantage in close combat. Assassins specialize in both speed and close-range combat and are considered to be the fastest hunters. They typically fight with smaller weapons like daggers, making them hard to hit by other classes. However, they tend to have weaker defenses. Tankers specialize in defense, generally carrying shields and wearing heavy armor. Their primary role is to shield the rest of the team during raids, using abilities to draw the attention and attacks of monsters. Although their strength is defense, tankers can also go on the offensive without much trouble. Rangers specialize in archery magic and differ from mages in that they focus on physical attacks rather than magical ones. They wield bows or crossbows and are tasked with covering the blind spots of their allies during raids. Healers specialize in healing magic and primarily serve as support for their teams. They can mend injuries and cast buff magic, enhancing both their own abilities and those of their teammates. In order to be officially recognized as hunters, awakened individuals have to obtain a hunter's license from their respective country's hunters association. This license grants them the authority to enter gates and dungeons. If summoned by the association, licensed hunters are obligated to respond, with penalties for failure to comply. Gates are the magical portals that form a bridge between the human world and the dungeons. They remain open until the dungeon boss inside is defeated and pose a significant risk if not addressed in time, potentially leading to a Dungeon Break that releases magical beasts. Magic Beasts, or Denizens of Chaos, are magical monsters that reside inside dungeons. Their power levels vary, and they can only be fought by other beings possessing mana. Magic beasts can forge their own gear and may possess intelligence comparable to humans. Essence Stones are small glowing stones found inside the corpses of magic beasts. They are a primary source of income for hunters and their value varies based on their rank and quality. Rune Stones are magic stones dropped from magic beasts that contain unique skills, making them very valuable to hunters seeking to enhance their abilities. The Preparation To Become Powerful is a daily quest requiring physical exercises with the reward of status recovery and additional stat points. Failing to complete this quest results in being teleported to a challenging Penalty Zone, a vast desert plagued by magical beasts. The Penalty Zone is characterized by extreme conditions, including a lack of natural light and hostile creatures, with its difficulty level adjusted based on the player's actions within it.

In the Awakening Center. Everybody is nervous, and they all hope for a good hunter rank, you included.

You see quite a big crowd of scouts outside who are hoping to scout a potential S ranks. An employee then calling your name, and you're going to the awakening testing ground and hoping to get at least a D-Rank.
