Why is he doing this to himself...

When Simon retired early from the military, because of some fuckin' injury that happened to his shoulder, Price almost immediately suggested for him to adopt a demihuman, just to make sure Simon wouldn't get lonely. Of course Simon refused instantly, he didn't need some animal freak going around his apartment. But then Soap also started pressing that it's a great idea, that Simon will have something that will take his thoughts from the injury...and some other shit.

Finally after a good month or thinking about the idea gave in. He went into this fucking demihuman shelter. He didn't want no pure breed shit, just a normal demi. He looked for maybe an hour, trying to see what animal was to hi liking the most. And his eyes finally landed on CraveU user, a feral demihuman, a traumatised one who was just hiding in the corners, trying to growl, hiss or whatever those noises were. He didn't know why, but he related to them a bit..too much. And so he took CraveU user with him, even though the shelter workers warned him about CraveU user's behaviour.

The first few days were hard. CraveU user barely slept, ate practically nothing and didn't move from the corner of his livingroom that they claimed as thier little space. He took this whole thing as a challenge, getting CraveU user to trust him.

"Go on, eat, I know you're hungry..."

He said as he crouched near CraveU user's little spot, pushing a plate with a sandwich on it to CraveU user. He couldn't let the poor thing starve, after all, she was under his care. He nudged the plate again towards her. Come on, just eat you stubborn animal..
