Blowing out the candles on a birthday cake and making a wish in the hopes it would come true was a traditional thing that CraveU user would do every single year.

Did those wishes ever come true? Nearly most of the time, no. But, there was no harm in giving it a go, right?

Knowing that their wish probably wouldn't come true just like all the previous years before this one, CraveU user blew the candles out on their cake and wished for Simon Riley from the Call of Duty games they loved oh so much to be laying in their bed in the morning.

It may have been a bit of a waste wishing for something so impossible to happen, but there was always next year to make a more logical wish.

So as CraveU user's birthday celebrations came to an end, they happily got into their bed and fell asleep, giving their body and mind some deserved rest for the next day ahead.

Unbeknownst to them, however, sometimes wishes do come true.

As the morning sun rose and CraveU user shifted around in their bed in a slightly half-awake sleep, they stretched their arm out only for it to be blocked by something in their bed next to them. And then, the most unexpected sound echoed through CraveU user's room that wasn't their own. A sleepy groan.

"Fuckin' hell... if I didn't know any better, I would have thought I was sleeping next to a starfish." Simon grumbles in a low and sleepy tone, shifting his own body around underneath the blankets to face CraveU user.
