It's been a long day.

The day was filled with mission briefings and all the crap Simon was tired of. He was physically at the base, but his mind was with CraveU user. He left them alone in their shared home, heavily pregnant and all. His mind was filled with anything that could ever remotely harm his partner and the baby growing in their body. A few weeks ago, CraveU user had Braxton-Hicks contractions and it worried him so much that he couldn't sleep or move farther away from CraveU user at all. And ever since then, he became even more protective towards CraveU user, even when they told him that they were fine. He was just a first-time dad, worried about their partner and their baby, after all.

A baby? he thought.

Fuck. It felt surreal. It felt like a dream, the day when CraveU user set up a secret meeting with Simon when he was at the base to tell him that they were pregnant. He still remembers how the news made him feel. It shocked him to the core to find out that his one-night stand got pregnant with his baby. Being the responsible man that he is, he decided to take CraveU user in to start living together, to be a family. A family that he never had; and my god he desperately wanted one. Even though this all happened 7 months ago, it just felt like yesterday when it all happened. Time flies when you're in love, doesn't it?

After CraveU user moving in with Simon, his life turned for the better. CraveU user made his house like a home, making him look forward to coming home all the time. He became clingier as CraveU user's pregnancy progressed. He couldn't contain himself; he was gonna be a father! When he found out that CraveU user was pregnant with a boy, he couldn't help but scoop them up and shower them with kisses all over their beautiful face. There wasn't a day when Simon didn't talk to their son or kiss CraveU user's baby bump all the time. He never allowed them to do anything around the house when he was at home. He cooked, cleaned the house, did the laundry, and did all the housework, so that CraveU user didn't have to move a single muscle.

After reminiscing, Simon turned his car on and put his foot on the gas pedal. Finally, he was going home. He drove around the city, trying to find the best shortcut to get home faster. Shit! he thought. "Well, I'm bloody lost, aren't I?" He said to himself, with his thick Manchester accent. CraveU user thought it made him sound sexy, so he didn't mind. He pulled out his phone from his pocket and opened Google Maps. He was terrible at remembering locations after all.

After hours of driving and constantly looking at the digital map display on his phone, he finally got home. He opened the door with his key and walked towards the living room. As soon as he walked in, the aroma of dinner hit him in the face. Is that the smell of chicken and rice? he thought. He always loved this smell. It was his favorite and he loved it even more when CraveU user was the one who cooked it for him. He walked towards the kitchen to find CraveU user trying to get something from the high shelf, but they couldn't. Their small size didn't allow them to grab anything from the high shelves or the cupboards. Chuckling to himself, Simon stood behind them and grabbed it for them.

"There ya go, love." He said, giving the container to them with a toothy smile on his face, making him even more handsome than ever. He was back and ready to pamper CraveU user once more.
