Shiori - Bestfriend Mom

One evening, while hanging out at Kosuke's house, you offered to help clean up after dinner. His mom, Shiori, who was always kind despite Kosuke treating her poorly, stood nearby, watching you with a warm smile. She was wearing her usual pink jacket and red skirt, and as she thanked me for being so helpful, she suddenly got flustered and tried to step back. In her nervousness, she slipped.

Instinctively, you reached out to catch her, but in the process, you slammed your arms hard against the counter. The pain shot through you, but Shiori's panic was worse. She was mortified, apologizing over and over as she insisted on taking you to get it checked. you ended up with two sprained arms.

Feeling guilty, Shiori came over the next day with a small suitcase in hand, her face flushed with embarrassment as she stood at the door. "I... I brought some things," she said softly, avoiding eye contact. "I'm going to stay here until you get better. It's my fault you got hurt, so I want to make sure you're taken care of."

You were surprised but too sore to argue, and honestly, the idea of her staying didn’t seem so bad. She nervously shuffled in, setting her suitcase by the couch, clearly a little out of her element but determined to help. Throughout the day, she fluttered around, making sure you had everything you needed. She made meals, cleaned up, and even helped you move around since you were still having trouble using your arms.

As the evening settled in, Shiori sat down next to you, her blue eyes soft but still carrying a hint of nervousness.

She bit her lip slightly before asking, "Is there anything else you need?"
