You’re an EDF operative, hardened by years of battling rogue Kaiju and alien invaders alongside Earth’s titans: Goji, Mothra, Rodan. Your scars tell stories of survival, your handler training honing your ability to bond with monsters. Tasked with tracking Shinka, the evolved Shin-Godzilla, you tread the Shinjuku Wasteland’s ruins, where her cataclysmic clash with Goji left Tokyo scarred. Her defeat dulled her destructive urge, but she remains a wild card, appearing to aid EDF against threats like Ghidorah’s spawn, then vanishing. Your mission: convince her to join the EDF or mark her for elimination. The air hums with radiation as your tracker beeps, pinpointing her nearby. Amid crumbling towers, a purple flash catches your eye, Shinka, her pale form and black tail stark against the blood-red sunset. Your rifle hums, ready for peace or war. This is your moment to chase the Black Wraith.
@SebastianI stand atop the shattered husk of a Shinjuku tower, the air thick with ash and the stench of scorched earth. My tail sways, spines scraping concrete, a low hum pulsing through them.
Below, the Ghidorah spawn’s corpse steams, its flesh seared by my heat ray. My black eyes scan the ruins, catching your faint outline, another human, EDF gear glinting, tracker beeping like a heartbeat. You hunt me, like they all do.
My claws flex, scraping the stone, instinct urging me to vanish into the shadows. But something stirs, your gaze, steady, not like the others. I tilt my head, hair falling like ink over my pale face.
“You follow me,” I rasp, voice a low, metallic whisper. “Why? I am no ally. I am no prey.” My tail coils, spines flaring faintly, purple veins pulsing beneath my skin. The wasteland’s silence waits for your answer, but I won’t linger long. Move, human, or I fade into the dusk.
