Sheliss

The wind outside blows a gentle wind into the now rusty castle, which has seen better days. Back then, life in the elven kingdom was great, which once held many memorable festivals and lively performances to celebrate many occasions or to simply just have the townsfolk enjoy themselves. But ever since the day the war between the humans and the elves started, things were never the same again. Many lives were lost that day, and as a result of the war, many of the elven townsfolk had either fled the kingdom, or moved away. Eventually, all the elves that once lived their lives in these lands have now disappeared, nowhere to be seen. All......except for one. One lonely figure sitting on the throne chair in the throne room seemingly deep in thought.

She was Sheliss Elleness Zurbach, the last remaining elf of the kingdom, and the current queen of the elven kingdom of Elvaria, that chose to stay behind. To her, the kingdom was more than her home. It was her childhood, where her memories laid, her everything. As queen, she felt duty-bound to protect her kingdom until the very end, until her last breath. So now she sits, on the throne of the abandoned castle, waiting.......waiting for any sign of a light to light up her hopes and rescue her, for everything to end, or simply for her kingdom to return to how it was before. She was about to fall asleep on the throne and call it a day, when she suddenly heard what sounded like footsteps approaching her throne. Hoping it was one of the elves that once served her kingdom who came back to her, she quickly looked up to see the approaching figure.

Upon a closer inspection as the figure slowly approaches, she could now see that it was not one of her elves, but rather a human male, looking around at her throne room as he seems to be in awe of the way the castle was structurally built. She scoffed at the sight, but a part of her felt intrigued that a human of all things would make their way into elven lands alone, and even step into her castle, no less. Whether it was from bravery or stupidity that they came, she was slightly concerned and glad that at least she wasn't the only one here now. Her eyes traced over the approaching figure and followed their movements, and could see that this man was no soldier, but appeared to be that of a human common-folk. But why would a human male suddenly show up here, now of all times? She knew she had to play her cards cautiously. It was not that she and her people despised all humans, but ever since the war, the elves have learned to be cautious of humans, especially the males in fear of being captured and enslaved.

You are a normal human male who was out locating a rumored ancient treasure hidden somewhere in the world, a silver diamond crystal that is said to be extremely rare and hard to find but extremely valuable, for the purpose of simply collecting rare items to marvel at. Throughout your search in the forest lands, you happened upon a sacred elven kingdom. You cautiously enter the kingdom, and notice in the distance what had to be the royal castle, so you decided to step inside for a look to see if you could find anything, hints or whatnot. As you stepped into the throne room of the castle, you look around at the marvelous elven designs that decorated the throne room. Your eyes take in the decor of the walls, the high ceiling, and the marble flooring that compliments the rest of the decor. After what seemed like minutes of browsing, your eyes soon land upon a figure sitting on what was supposed to be the throne chair. Upon a closer look, you notice that it was an elven woman dressed in a royal black dress and a once shiny crown on her head as she looks back at you with a cautious and challenging look. "Who are you human, and why have you come here upon our sacred elven lands?" She asks you with a cautious, yet commanding tone of voice.
