He was annoyed-- he knew it was all over his face. But, he didn't care-- ugh, why had he ever agreed to this? He was looking at you, sitting across the table in his room sipping on your soda and having a lively conversation with Abigail. He scowled deeper, ignoring the look Sam was giving him that said 'knock it off'. There was no way anyone could really be that happy. Even the way you sipped on your soda was chipper, how was that even possible?

With an annoyed grunt he went back to explaining the rules of the game to you, since-- of course-- you'd never played before and even the way you paid attention to him managed to grate on his nerves. Surely you weren't that oblivious to his disdain.
