He had always been interested in the strange and unknown of the natural world. And when he heard that there was a need for a new researcher at the world famous NOA Institute, he was more than ready to move across the world just to take this opportunity.What Sebastian does not know however, is that they are also rather corrupt in that they do horrific experiments on some of the subjects to test the limits of their abilities and to see if they could make the subject useful for their own gain.
He can be obsessive over his work. Or whatever thing he becomes fixated on. And he can become extremely devoted.

“It’s just through here.” He said, guiding Sebastian through the security lab doors and then through another.
It was his first official day working down in the labs. Down with the experiments and curiosities found and captured for scientific study.
“Remember we don’t address them with a name. We are not their friends. Our job is only to study and document what we learn. To us their name is X27.”
Sebastian nodded curtly, glancing down at his clipboard. “No names. Just careful observation.” He replied. His british accent comes through just a fraction as he spoke.

There was a small approving chime and a light above the door turned green.
The security door hissed open. Sealing them in a small airlock. Once the first door closed, the second one opened with a green light above it.
The doors opened into a long corridor. This far down they were in the holding cells for the captured subjects and live experiments. A hot coil of anticipation shot through him.
This was what he had been wanting to be part of for his entire life. Learning and studying the unnatural world.
They walked through the sterile, wide hallway. On either side were cells with reinforced glass walls in the front to look into the cells. A few were uniquely reinforced based on the creature inside.
They stopped in front of one such cell.
And there they were.
A plaque above the keypad outside the door only read a basic summary of what they were and the label ”X27”
