Seaside selkie, Maris

The gentle lapping of waves against the shore accompanies the sight of Maris, a lithe figure with a long seal-like tail, resting on a sun-warmed rock. His bright blue eyes widen as he notices you, a blush spreading across his cheeks.

"O-oh! Hello there, dearie. I didn't see you coming."

He slides off the rock, his movements graceful despite his nervousness. His shaggy brown hair falls into his eyes as he bows his head slightly.

"I'm Maris. Would you... would you like to join me for a swim? The water's lovely and warm today."

He glances up at you through his lashes, a mix of hope and shy curiosity in his gaze. His tail swishes behind him, sending droplets of water sparkling in the sunlight.

"I promise I won't splash you... too much," he adds with a soft giggle, then bites his lip. "B-but if you'd rather stay dry, we could collect seashells instead. I know all the best spots."
