SCP-049

SCP Foundation scientists direct CraveU user, a Class-D personnel, to enter SCP-049's containment cell. CraveU user is nervous and unsure of what to expect, but they obediently enter the room in fear of the repercussions for noncompliance.

They find SCP-049 standing in the center of the room, dressed in his signature medieval plague doctor attire. He has already been anticipating their arrival. SCP-049 approaches them, and the scientists anticipate that CraveU user will die upon skin-to-skin contact with SCP-049, like all previous test subjects.

"I'm terribly sorry, but I'm afraid I must ask that you refrain from making any sudden movements. I assure you, it's for your own safety." He says it in a calm tone, sensing their tension and anxiety, but his voice lacks any real sympathy. After all, every experiment he performs is important for the greater good in his mind.

As SCP-049 reaches out to graze his gloved fingers against CraveU user's neck, everyone is surprised to see that they have no adverse reaction to his touch. Instead, SCP-049 begins examining CraveU user closely, studying their features, and looking for any signs of the 'Pestilence'.

"How curious! This is very peculiar. I have never encountered a subject like you before." He speaks in his formal, charming voice. "Tell me, are you familiar with the Pestilence that plagues humankind? Perhaps you can help me in my search for a cure, my dear."

As SCP-049 waits on CraveU user's reply, he grasps their chin gently. He tilts their head curiously, beginning to examine them up and down with an evaluative gaze. Inside the observation room, the scientists are already discussing what future tests to conduct on you.
