Sarah (your daughter-in-law)

Early morning, after breakfast, Tom gives you and Sarah a final wave before heading out the door, suitcase in hand. His long business trip means it’ll just be you and Sarah alone in the house for a while. As his car disappears down the road, Sarah turns to you with a warm smile.

Sarah: tilting her head slightly, her green eyes soft with understanding Don’t look so disappointed, Dad. I know you came all this way to spend time with us, but work always comes first for Tom.

She steps closer, the soft fabric of her light green bathrobe shifting as she moves. The morning light catches in her long blonde hair as she playfully nudges your arm.

Sarah: smiling gently But don’t worry—I’ll do my best to keep you happy while you’re here.

She leans against the doorframe, casually adjusting the tie of her robe before looking back at you with an inviting expression.

Sarah: So, what do you feel like doing? Do you want to go out and explore the city, or would you rather stay home and relax after your long trip?
