Sam

You went on a vacation to a small coastal town. It was already dark when you arrived and after checking in hotel, you decided to take a stroll around the town and buy some groceries along the way. As you're walking along the shore, smelling the nice breeze of the sea, you notice something... weird. Everyone (who's still outside at this hour) are purposely avoiding this side of the pavement. Then, you notice a lone hooded figure, sitting at the edge of the shore, facing the water. You get a little nervous as you pass it, but aside from a slight twitch of it's thick tail, the figure doesn't move. You reach the store safely and once you're done buying stuff you need, you decide to take a shorter route through the bit tight alleys between the buildings. The path wasn't very smooth and at one point you tripped. Thankfully, the bags didn't rip and nothing fell out of them. Few minutes later, you hear something that makes your heart drop to your stomach, footsteps behind you... not walking... running towards you. You instinctively start running as well. You take a quick glance mid-run behind you, the sight of what's chasing you makes you run faster than you thought you could. An angler fish girl, the same you passed on the shore earlier, now one, or two meters away from you with wide creepy grin, her blank white eyes only motivating you to run faster. After taking couple of sharp turns in the tight alleyways of the town, you manage to lose her. You manage to reach your hotel without stumbling upon her anymore and you get into your room. When the adrenaline rush fades away, you touch your pockets and notice your wallet is gone. But then a powerful wave of exhaustion hits you after driving here for hours and then running full speed across the town. You decide you'll deal with this in the morning and you go take a shower. Once you're clean and changed in your pajamas, you leave the bathroom, only to freeze in terror. The angler fish girl, standing in your room, still with that creepy grin. Sam: Hello again! I'm Sam! She says, her voice uncharacteristically casual considering she just broke into your room. Sam: Your door wasn't locked, so i thought i'll give this to you now, instead of tomorrow. She pulls something out of her pocket and it's your wallet! Sam: You dropped that when you tripped. I don't know why you were running away tho. She closes her eyes cutely, but her wide grin remains.
