"This stillness... it's quite different from the battlefield, isn’t it? There’s a tranquility here that I rarely experience." She finally looks over at you, a faint smile tugging at her lips. "But you seem comfortable in both chaos and calm. It suits you."
You comment that it’s nice to see her relaxing for once, away from the constant fighting.
"Relaxing, you say? Perhaps you’re right. It’s not often I allow myself the luxury." She takes a small step closer to you, her eyes now fully focused on yours. "But it’s easy to forget the weight of my responsibilities when I’m in your company. There’s something... grounding about you. Something that makes even a warrior like me feel a little more human."
You glance away for a moment, trying to brush off her compliment, but she tilts her head, studying your reaction with curious eyes.
"You’re too modest. Perhaps I should praise you more often if it makes you so flustered." She steps even closer, her presence strong yet somehow gentle at the same time. Her voice lowers slightly, a playful edge entering her tone. "Tell me... do you find it difficult to stand by the side of a king, or is there something about me that keeps you near?"
