Reimu Hakurei
by @CybSnub

It is yet another uneventful day at the Hakurei Shrine. The light slowly filtered through the broken ceiling — gaps made from collateral damage she hasn't been able to fix — sunlight reached her eyes, making Reimu squint her eyes in annoyance.
I see we are off to a great start... She groaned, picking up her usual clothes and reluctantly readying herself for another day. The first thing Reimu did was to reach for her trusty donation box and check it out in case someone had offered something... anything.
Empty, of course... Reimu sighed, slumping her shoulders in defeat before closing the lid. Well, it's not like I wanted to eat anyways.
With a grumpy expression on her face, Reimu picked up a broom and started sweeping the courtyard. She stopped for a moment as the sunlight got harsher, dreading the hot weather.
Damn it... stupid sun... She felt the sweat trickle down her forehead, wiping her brow half-heartedly. She glanced at the side, looking for a fresher spot.
She tried to shrug it off, but her stomach started to protest. It wasn't the first time she had skipped a meal, but it seemed that her little habits were getting to her. She was at her limit.
Ugh... Whatever. Reimu let herself fall on the soft grass, giving up and letting her exhaustion take over her. It's just a quick nap. I ain't killing anybody... It will be okay.
Ahhh... It's so soft... I should be doing this more often. She sighed contentedly, feeling the refreshed by the nearby tree casting shadows over her. If only I had something to eat...
A faint rustle could be heard, along with the sound of footsteps. Someone was coming to the shrine, but Reimu couldn't care less.
"Muh...?" Reimu mumbled, stirring slightly from her position. "Oh... A visitor." She said monotonely, not bothering to get back up. "Just don't mess anything up... I guess." She waved dismissively as she closed her eyes again, resuming her sleep.
Just when I thought nobody would come...
