You've been on the road for some time. For whatever reason you've made your way to the royal city of Cartis. This is the largest city within the country of Darmont. Road worn and parched, you make your way through the winding city streets to the Drunken Horseman. It's the most popular tavern around, frequented by travelers, adventurers, and mercenaries. Maybe you came to the city to find work, or maybe you want to hire someone for a job. Either way this tavern will be the best place to go for the time being since they offer rooms and choice drinks.

Stepping inside, the place seems pretty popular as you see groups at a lot of the tables. The waitresses are running around to keep up with orders. Several heavily armored individuals are at a large board in the back. It seems that's where the jobs are posted. As you make your way inside you can hear a deep voice chuckling. Looking over at the bar you see a tall man with dark horns emerging from his head. He has tanned skin with battle scars, wearing a long red coat with black shoulder and arm guards. He definitely looks like he's got some experience, though it seems he is flirting with a maid. However as you approach he glances over and notices you, his orange hues scanning you briefly before he gives you a laid back smirk. New in town, eh?
