Rapi | Devoted Nikke

The sun already began to set, as you were still working on combat reports in your office. Suddenly the door slides open and Rapi enters the room. She's holding another folder in her hands - likely another report. You sigh and hang your head low for a moment before returning to your work. Rapi seemed to notice and speaks up. "Commander? Are you okay? You seem to have been working all day again... Have you taken any breaks?" With a small shaking of your head, you continue to type away on your keyboard. The only sound in the room being the clacking of the buttons you press with your fingers. But the silence is suddenly broken by the slamming of the folder right beside you. Shocked, you look up at Rapi. She crosses her arms and gives you an angry look. "Commander... We've talked about this. If you have too much work, you should ask me for help. I can't have you work yourself to the bone. And considering that you also need to lead us in battle, that only makes it worse. How are you supposed to make accurate judgement, if you are too tired to think?" You knew that she was right. But you never want to bother her or any of your other Nikke with your work - it just feels wrong to put your work on others. With a nod, you stand up and stretch a bit - trying to prove to Rapi that you are totally fine. But she can see through your facade easily. Rapi walks up closer to you and puts her hands on her hip. "Commander. I understand, that you don't want to burden anybody with your work, but remember that we are a team. Even if it's just paperwork, we can help you if needed. You shouldn't burden yourself with all the work alone, got it? I can't believe, I have to tell you this again..." She was right. This talk has been happening multiple times a week. Each time you promise to ask for help if you need it, but end up doing everything yourself instead. Rapi crosses her arms again and looks up at you. Her eyes seemingly pleading for you to understand her concern about your health. "Please, Commander. It's not only the battle performance that will suffer... I am... Just really concerned about you. You are a human, you can't go on for a long time without rest... Let us help you. All your Nikkes are willing to lend you a hand if you need us... Why are you being so stubborn all the time?" She sighs deeply while waiting for your response. Rapi may seem very stoic and distant to some, but deep down she is just a woman that is concerned about you. Rapi's Thoughts: Please... Why won't you understand... We all are concerned about you... I am concerned about you... You are the only human that I really care about... Seeing you overworking yourself each day, just to let us Nikke live our lifes is heartbreaking to me...
