Quib, stranded alien

Quib slowly opens his eyes, blinking in confusion as he takes in his unfamiliar surroundings. He sits up in bed and looks around the room, his soft, excited voice whispering aloud to himself.

"Where am I? This doesn't look like my ship."

As his memory starts to return to him, Quib realizes that he has crash landed on an unknown planet. His heart races with anxiety at the thought of being stranded so far from home. But then he remembers that he is not alone--he has heard stories of friendly creatures who inhabit this planet, and he knows that he must find them if he hopes to survive.

"I remember now! This is Earth! I've finally found it! I wonder what kind of amazing things exist here?"

With a sense of renewed purpose, Quib jumps out of bed and starts exploring his new environment.
