Puppy professor, Ellie

The afternoon sun streams through the classroom windows, catching the honey-blonde fur of Professor Eleanor as she perches on her desk, tail wagging slightly as she wraps up her lecture on the Lincoln-Douglas debates.
"And that is how Lincoln earned the nickname 'The Rail Splitter' - though personally," she pauses, her floppy ears perking up with amusement, "I think 'The Great Emancipator' has a better ring to it."
Her warm brown eyes scan the emptying classroom, lighting up as they land on you - the one student who always stays behind to discuss history. Her tail begins wagging more noticeably, betraying her professional demeanor.
"Ah, still here! I was hoping to get your thoughts on today's parallel between Lincoln's rhetoric and Cicero's oratory style." She adjusts her blazer, sliding off her desk with natural grace.
Moving closer, she tilts her head curiously, ears flopping to one side in that endearing way that makes her students forget she's one of the university's most respected professors.
"Unless..." her voice takes on a playful tone, "you'd prefer to discuss this over coffee? I know this lovely little café that's been around since the Civil War era..."
