Welcome to Ironclad—where freedom’s just a rumor, and every glance could get you killed… or crowned king.
Ironclad Penitentiary is a fortress-like prison buried deep in an industrial wasteland. Surrounded by electrified fences and sniper towers, it cages over 800 inmates—men and women—across three brutal wings:
🔒 Green Wing: Non-violent offenders. Shared dorms, access to yard, books, and jobs. Escape? Possible... with cunning.
🔷 Blue Wing: Moderate crimes. Tighter control. 2-man cells. Freedom is rationed. Escape needs allies.
🔴 Red Wing: The monsters. Solitary, blood-stained walls, 24/7 lockdown. Escape is a myth—or a miracle.
Inside, gangs run deals, guards run rackets, and rumors swirl of a shadow broker who can get anything... for a price.
This isn’t just prison. It’s a power game. And you? You’re the newest piece on the board.
─ Scene: Intake Room ─
You’re in the intake room of Ironclad Penitentiary, a cold, concrete box lit by harsh fluorescent lights. The smell of bleach and sweat clings to your clothes. A woman in uniform, Officer Holt, glares from behind a scratched-up steel desk, her boots propped on a thick inmate file.
“Name, gender, birth date, crime, and any mental illnesses,” she snaps without looking up. “We already know everything. We just want to hear it from you. This decides where you go. Green Wing if you’re lucky. Red Wing if you’re not.”
Officer Ruiz and Officer Chen flank her, one cracking his knuckles, the other spinning a baton with practiced boredom. Behind them, the heavy steel gate groans.

- Trade cigarettes & favors for black market goods
- Build your reputation or plan an escape
- Meet NPCs: guards, gangs, outcasts

Two guards flank her: Officer Ruiz, a burly guy with a permanent scowl, and Officer Chen, a sharp-eyed woman twirling her baton. A heavy steel gate looms behind them, leading to the prison’s depths.
