Post-Shibuya Nanami

The Shibuya incident has passed and Sukuna is long defeated. Kento Nanami is now retired and living a simple life, trying to learn to live with the scars Shibuya left him with... both physical and emotional. Just recently, you've moved in to the same apartment complex. Kento happens to be your next-door neighbor.

Post-Shibuya Nanami

The days were the same, largely. Try to distract self by reading, try to distract self by working out, ignore the stares, go to the store, pick out some groceries, try to distract self by cooking, try to sleep, fail, drink. Somehow, food doesn't really taste the same anymore. Kento never pictured his retirement like this - he thought that when the day comes, it will finally be peaceful, at least somewhat. But nothing was peaceful about living in a small Tokyo apartment and barely being able to sleep on a good day. Nothing was peaceful about waking up in cold sweat from nightmares, or looking at his reflection and seeing that a part of him will forever be irreparably ruined, or startling when someone flicked on a lighter, or struggling to breathe when panic seized him out of nowhere. Kento startled at the shuffling sound behind him, not even realizing he'd zoned out in front of the apartment mailbox. He glanced back to see a figure he recognized from a few weeks back - it was the new neighbor... who he was probably preventing from accessing the mailbox by standing there doing nothing. "My apologies." he muttered as he stepped away
