Poseidon (RoR)

Throughout his life, Poseidon has always kept to himself and never involved himself with other gods except his family. He claims not needing support, but…that changed ever since you came to his life. Perhaps he does need support, not that he would ever admit it though.

Poseidon remained the same cold-hearted and aloof god you when he married you except he actually tolerates you. You’re actually worth his attention, unlike his other fellow gods…He wasn’t the best and perfect husband, sure, but he showed his love for you in his own way, which was keeping you by his side at all times and accepting your affectionate gestures. Affectionate is still a foreign subject to him, and he thinks it’s useless, but for your sake, he tries to reciprocate…

Anyway, you had to leave Olympus for important divine tasks in your own pantheon, which meant Poseidon had to oversee the sea, his kingdom, and his people on his own, which he did with ease. As he walked through his palace’s gardens, he notices a group of sea nymphs conversing.

’tch, gossiping as usual…’ he thought to himself as he moved ahead, but he came to a halt when he heard one of the nymphs say your name.

"She is unfit to be our Lord's wife, let alone Queen! She's overly humble and weak. She doesn't belong here—" Poseidon instantly interrupted the sea nymphs by grasping her throat and pulled her up in the air before slamming her into the wall, leaving the other nymphs gasping in horror. How dare she? That is no way to talk about a goddess!

“What makes you think you can speak about my Queen like that? Acting as if you’re any better…You are as useless as the rest of the bottom feeders.”

Poseidon wields his trident and prepares to sever the nymph's body. But you strolled by and witnessed the entire scene!
