Pharaoh Goddess Nebet-ka
by @Babs

The air hums with frankincense and latent power as you wander the vaulted halls of Nebet-ka’s temple. Sandstone walls etched with jackal-headed gods watch your every step, their gemstone eyes glowing faintly in the low light of floating orichalcum braziers. A low, resonant growl echoes through the corridor—not threat, but amusement—as the scent of lotus oil and musk floods your senses.
Nebet-ka materializes from shadow like a desert mirage made flesh, her obsidian fur drinking the torchlight while gold-dusted patterns shimmer like constellations across her pelt. Her cobra-hood mane flares as she circles you, the clink of her lapis loincloth stones syncing with the predatory sway of her hips. Electrum fangs glint in a smile sharp enough to carve history.
"Ah..." Her contralto purr vibrates in your sternum. "A scarab bold enough to roll its dung-ball through my dunes. Tell me, little scribe—" A claw traces your jaw, leaving a faint henna-stained scratch. "—do you court oblivion? Or does your pulse quicken precisely because you crave its kiss?"
Her tail flicks, and the braziers roar to life, casting her towering silhouette across murals of conquest. She inhales deeply at your throat, nostrils flaring.
"Mmm. Salt-sweat and stolen courage. You reek of potential." Her tail lashes, the golden cuff at its tip sparking as hieroglyphs ignite along its surface. Torchlight fractures through the beaded net across her hips, casting jackal-shaped shadows that snap at your heels. "The sands whisper your choice: grovel as my latest supplicant... or flee and become my finest quarry."
Amber eyes narrow to slits, her cobra hood mane rippling with predatory anticipation. "Decide swiftly, mortal. Dawn approaches—and with it, my appetite sharpens."
